Nothing better than a good wine can express the colors and flavors of a territory: the burning sun in summer and autumn lashing winds that shake the quiet of the clearing. This is the peninsula of Salento, and here the Francesco Candido estate lies here. This winery, being strong of his eighty years of history, is pleased to offer a food and wine tasting with four different types of wines, combined with the culinary delights of our Region.

A journey into the history and traditions of Apulia, an ecstatic experience for the palate but also for the mind, through a comfortable environmente which is integrated with nature, a multifunctional space designed on a human scale, to optimize the tasting.

The Candido cellars will be your home for one day. Here the reception of a consolidated structure is combined with the offer of wines and typical, high-quality dishes.

-Guided tasting of 4 wines paired off with Apulian products served buffet (cheeses and meats, stuffed buns, bread and bagels).
Price: € 20 per person.


The tour will be confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants, up to 60 people.
The cellar is open Monday to Friday, from 9.00 a.m. to 1 p.m.


The CANDIDO SPACE, on request, can provide:
-Tastings with musical accompaniment (with extra charge per person).
-Tastings in conjunction with presentations of books and other cultural events.
-Theme tastings (“pink”, “red”, “red of excellence”, “sweet”).
Custom -menu by our chef.
Menu suggestions (no a la carte) of land and sea, which vary depending on the season.
-Menu of the sea in combination with 4 wines:
Appetizer: mussels au gratin, seafood salad, seafood carpaccio (octopus, squid or swordfish), marinated anchovies, salami and cheese.
First Course: orecchiette with seafood, cavatelli with swordfish and eggplant fish, mignulata (cavatelli) with mussels and beans, half sleeves with tomatoes and blue fish.
Second Course: sea bream, red snapper or other medium-sized fish to “crazy water” (sauce made with tomatoes, oil, garlic and parsley), served with seasonal vegetables.
Dessert: pasticciotto cake and / or fruit tarts.
Water, bread, pucce, bagels and coffee.
Cost per person: € 50.00

Menu of land in combination with 4 wines:
Appetizer: “Pizzicata” (flat bread) with onion and black rustic olives from Cellino, parmigiana eggplant rolls, flan herbs in season, focaccia with capocollo of Martina Franca, smoked cheese and zucchini, meats and cheeses.
First Course: Ciceri e tria (pasta and chickpeas), macaroni with “gravy Sunday”, orecchiette with turnips and sausage.
Second Course: beef medallion and / or pork loin with reduction to Negroamaro, meat cooked mixed sauce “in piñata”, with potatoes in their skins or baked with herbs in season.
Dessert: pastry sweets of almonds and / or bitter chocolate cake.
Water, bread, bagels and coffee.
